The Trustees of Stepping Forward have extensive professional and personal experience of disability issues. All members of our team have disabilities or are parents of children with disabilities; they have direct experience of working to promote the rights of disabled people in the UK and of working for change with disabled people’s organisations and parent-led organisations in a number of Sub-Saharan African countries.

Josephine Rwibasira

Josephine’s experience of caring for her son, who has cerebral palsy and complex medical needs, has taken her to a number of countries, seeking appropriate therapy. Josephine is a community advocate and supports families to access essential support for their children.

Dave has over forty years of voluntary sector experience. He is a founder member and former Chairman of the Association of Cystic Fibrosis Adults UK and was LA funding adviser to Wokingham Voluntary Council.
